Hi, what has been/will be the next steps for you after being chief of staff?

Context: I head up strategy & ops at a startup and act as CoS to CEO. Now interviewing for CoS to CCO at another larger company (1000+ employees) and wondering if this puts me in line to get a CCO role in a few years or if I’m better off remaining in strategy & Ops.
