If anyone is thinking of leaving interview prep until you've got time - don't. All it takes is a few hours a week to keep yourself new offer ready. I didn't invest that time, and ashamed to say, the timeboxed job hunt is now pretty scary. Offshore recruiter mail has become cause for highs, and the anxiety about making rent in a few months is real. Can't imagine if I had a family relying on me... Hope this little anecdote tips the scale for anyone on the edge of prepping. Don't make my mistake.
