I am interviewing at a Production Studio and it’s going well. The majority of my experience is agency side. They mentioned base salary with commission, as they want to see growth in the next 3-5 years. There has been no talk of salary yet. What does a base salary for an EP with commission usually look like in this role? What should I be asking for? I don’t want to give up my current salary, but I think this job would be such a great fit for me. Advice?

Recently got my CPA license in August & considering leaving public accounting for Industry. Should I expect my new role to pay for my CPA license renewals/AICPA membership/CPE classes? These things add up &I feel like should be considered when transitioning. Thoughts?

I'm interviewing with KKR for a Principal role in their real estate group. All online salary resources are all in alignment with a total comp of $200k+. I'm assuming based on the average salary reported across these portals for principal that those figures apply to the RE group as well. Would it be hard to get a exp associate role in advisory at a B4 as someone with about 10 months in audit at EY, 7 months experience in corporate accounting at a F300 and CPA? Hated my time at the F300 but had thought the grass would be greener in industry.
