By the second interview, they’ll know who is or isn’t a viable fit. Unless it’s a genuine toss up between two candidates, a third interview is just wasting everyone’s time. And a sign of an inefficient HR process.
Ghosting is common because recruiters and HR are now so used to people applying for multiple roles, they probably think you’ll just forget you even applied for this, let alone are waiting feedback on the outcome.
It’s indicative of a culture that doesn’t value its people. You’re probably better off in the long run.
