So I need chair recommendations.
I have a $40 chair from target and being on it for 14+ hours a day is pretty much killing me. I don’t have space for a standing desk tbh and my flat feet make it hard to stand for longer periods of time. If anyone has good recommendations hopefully under $400, i would highly appreciate it!
What should I expect when trying to exit into a more competitive (geographical) market?
My home office is in a developing country (think non-EU/US, G20), I’m looking at Biz Ops/PM roles in tech in Western Europe. How much should I expect to be able to leverage my consulting/McKinsey background in this context?
Where did you buy your ergonomic chair for wfh? Is there a brick and mortar recommended in the city? Need to try it then usual d2c company.
Anyone notice an increased soreness in the lower back after starting to use a standing desk? I didn’t have much of a problem with my regular desk.
If you have a regular office in an office building but also do work at your home on a regular basis (no clients coming to home), can you use the home office deduction when you do your taxes?
Any recommendations for an office chair for home working? I've been recommended the secret lab titan exo 2022 series £500+
Have you ever tried to bring about a change/stood up for something at home/office etc. Did it succeed/fail? How was the experience?
I am getting really curious about this product for my home office. If anyone owns one, let me know your thoughts.
Any fellow aging consultants here have severe back pain? Ruptured discs in my lower back and now working extensively from home. Looking to find the most comfortable office chair I can.
For those with an under the desk treadmill, what chair do you use when you need to sit? I just upgraded to a standing desk and treadmill combo but still have a regular office chair. I would love to find something so I don’t have to move the treadmill since I live in a small apartment. Google is giving me results like this but I’m wondering if there are better options?
For EY-Parthenon, how much does your home office location matter? (the office you're linked with)
Any suggestions on locations? Thanks
Going to start at BCG soon and want to set up my home office a little nicer. What's the BCG stipend / provision for WFH setup? (I understand I'll be traveling often but I was told to expect a few days of WFH depending on COVID and the case)
Any recommendation on printer for home office?
Need suggestions for home office chair with high back and/or neck support. Feels like holding my head up all day is causing all my pain. 400-600 range please. Love Herman Miller but can never imagine dropping $1500 for a chair…
Does anyone find consulting unbelievably frustrating due to not being able to have a set schedule week to week?
It’s so hard to create a schedule when you have no idea whether you’ll be flying or working from home or going into the home office until maybe a few days in advance (if you’re lucky)
Posting here because I’m looking for something more predictable even if the hours still aren’t the best.
PSA: if your hotel TV has an insufferable input lock-out (changing to an HDMI is disabled), get a cheap universal remote. I got one, hit input, and I'm now using the TV as a second monitor.
Tired of my old office chair and my new position will be fully remote. What is the best home office chair you’ve used for a reasonable price? Bonus points if I can use an EY discount.
What have other agencies been providing for WFH and onboarding perks? Just started a new role and I received the standard laptop, monitor and keyboard/mouse which I’m grateful for but have friends who also made moves and have received stipends for home office upgrades, health + wellness stipends, and reimbursements for phone + Internet. Made me curious what other agencies are doing.
I know I’m not the only one burned out on insurance. Has anyone thought of moving into a different career? If so, what?
What is the LTI bench policy, how much time can an employee be on bench is it 90 or 120 days in business/industry consulting?
Should an employment lawyer consider getting a PHR/SPHR certificate? Is it worthwhile?
A lot of in house opportunities seem to be looking for them

ERC tax reporting. How is everyone going about it? Do I reduce my wages on page 1 by the amount of the credit? Also how come form 5884-A that calculates the credit is limiting it to 40%. The software then takes that amount and once again reduced wages by that amount. Isn’t that double counting? I’m using LaCert
