Hey, I have 4 YOE and currently a manager at PwC and have been managing teams for a little over a year now. My role mainly consists of leading teams of engineers deliver MVPs to our clients.
If I wanted to exit to Google or Facebook (Meta) what role would align for me? I was looking at engineering manager roles but unsure if that’s too senior for me.

One of my favorite podcasts did an episode on Adderall. Most of the info won’t be new, but there were some interesting snippets in there. I also thought it was a useful educational resource to share with your family and friends.

Ummm. “Regular creative” people are moving to healthcare in droves. Pretty soon you’ll understand that Healthcare itself is “regular creative."
Why would I want you working for me in healthcare with an attitude that healthcare itself limits your creativity? Who needs that? Go in with guns blazing, take no prisoners and take your chances. Otherwise, stay “regular” my friend
depends on your book baby
I got pushed into it at Arnold NY and never recovered. Don’t listen to these people who say it’s just as creative as other advertising. It sucks and you can’t get away from the stink if you get stuck doing it for a few years
I just worry that healthcare would limit the creativity of my work. And that I would be placing myself in a box. One that would be potentially hard to climb out of if I find it’s not for me.
Tbh I’m on the same boat op .... close to getting pharma offer and I’ve decided to accept it when/if it comes. Who knows I may end up loving it ... better timelines, more budget, getting the opportunity to actually be involved in productions and if I don’t love it, I leave .... a year anywhere isn’t going to kill you. And hey, it’s a job ... those are hard enough to come by.
Yes. You will be stuck in a box so keep doing side projects to diversify your book.
Also... If you can create amazing work for Pharma... It'll be equivalent to the Browns winning the Superbowl. If you can do that you'll land a job anywhere.

Regular Creative with tons of disclosure
If you have an erection that lasts more than four hours , seek help immediately .
Obviously there’s a million little semantics that will factor into what you can do, but honestly yes it will be tough. Especially if you want to get into a “famous” creative shop later on. I wish you the best! Of course, these symptoms may not be the same for everyone.
If you have great “regular creative” and great healthcare work, then you’re more well rounded and versatile than someone that just has one or the other, no?
