Hey Guys,
I got a call from Infosys HR on 16-September-2022 that I have been successfully selected for the job position of Test Analyst at Infosys, as per our conversation I have to receive an offer letter within 15 days, but I haven’t received it till now.
Now They have sent a mail that your Candidature is on hold. Is this happened with anyone else also.
Please do suggest on this guys.

My final round with Deloitte for UK Tech Consulting Manager position soon. Strangely it’s not a PMD round as it usually is for other Big4/tech consulting firms.
1. Can anyone tell me if they’ve been through the whole process without speaking to PMD? (First round Sr Manager, second Case Interview by a manager and third again by a manager) 2. What is a typical salary to expect? I was asked in screening but kept it vague (e.g can discuss later bla bla). I was hoping 75-80 (ridiculous?)

I asked a recruiter who worked at my agency why and she basically said “if we aren’t going to hire them they don’t really matter anymore.”
Yep
Ouch
I would want to know what their definition of “ghosting” is, if they have one...which could be at the root of this perception that most recruiters are heartless, disappearing monsters: maybe what WE see as ghosting isn’t, in their minds.
Agree. It’s usually that they’re afraid to deliver bad news. I’m a recruiter, and I do always try to get back to people. Sometimes I find myself working 13-14 hours a day just so I make sure to get back to people. I think the one thing people don’t realize is the volume of people that reach out to us, many of whom have absolutely no qualifications for the job they want to discuss. It makes it a challenge to get back to everyone AND do our actual jobs, which is to fill our open roles. Plus a lot of people do not take feedback well when you tell them the reason they’re not being considered...you try to do the right thing and they keep pushing to the point that you want to stop giving feedback and just tell people they’re not being considered. I’ve had some real doozies this week that cannot take no for an answer.
I would also wanna know if there’s anything that WE are doing that increases our odds of being ghosted?
I think it’s probably a combination of a culture of entitlement, and a culture of blame. Everything is always everyone else’s fault, when you don’t get exactly what you want, the second you want it.
