If you move to Corp M&A within a year or so of banking is it possible to come back to IB after a few years away? Say at the associate or VP level at any tier bank. Not interested in PE which I know would be a long shot to get into after leaving IB. Wondering if anyone’s seen this

Oh for sure, it's not like you are locked out forever. I think you could do it, but you might have to start looking a little earlier than you'd like to lock down something good.

Cool thank you. This seems like a prime path

Just got a “Sheraton Vacations” special offer to basically get 5 nights at a Florida property for $250.

I read the fine print and other than a need to be flexible in terms of when you book, it doesn’t seem like there is a catch.

I’ve had radio silence from a small investment bank for about a week now. I’ve completed several rounds of interviews, but last Thursday the firm reposted the job I’ve been interviewing for. On Friday the headhunter said that they’re not sourcing new candidates and it’s probably just LinkedIn automatically refreshing the listing. She said they had a busy week last week but will make a final decision this week - is the delay and radio silence a bad sign or is this typical for experienced hiring?
