Once I disclosed my felony, which she already knew about since a friend referred me to her, she immediately stopped the interview and said she couldn’t in good faith move forward on my application given the nature of my offense. So after two weeks of waiting (and giving up on the idea of getting the job really), the recruiter got back to me.

They said due to month-end and quarter-end close they were busy and couldn’t get back to me as quickly for a “good update”.

The recruiter said the CFO enjoyed our call, she, the CFO, will call me next week directly to “discuss some final things”.
