Hello Guys,
I joined Cognizant recently, the project interview calls which I am getting is not from my base location.
I have the location constraint, should I wait for the right opportunity or raise this concern to ADP team so they can look in to it?
As per ADP policy, one should not have any constraints and take the project as FCFS basis.

It’s amazing how companies navigate rising costs. They charge clients more, tighten belts with restructuring, layoffs and offering less benefits. And the lowly worker sits stagnant in their pay, with higher expectations and pressure to increase output year over year. And on top of that, rising COL ensures less buying power of the dollar in their pocket.
Demonstrate your value at work beyond doing your job well and delivering on time. Thinking ahead, anticipating client needs, focusing on growth with training, taking on greater stretch projects, greater responsibility and leadership for a project, team building, knowledge sharing effort, or even suggesting solutions or improvements for department pain points/bottlenecks.
These are things anyone can start doing or seek opportunities for which they’ll add significant value to their team and client work.
Document dates, projects, team members, efforts and results throughout the year and share the details with your manager to justify your requested raise, backed by COL/competitive salary data for your area/role.
No one will keep as careful and nuanced a record of your wins as you. And when you share them, it will be hard for your manager to deny you your raise.

It usually works out real well when I call out the job offer from their competitor and pair it with a resignation letter. Suddenly, there’s all kinds of money in play.

It's that easy!

Awards. Positive feedback from clients, bosses, peers and other teams (always screenshot and keep a little folder). Metrics from media for well performing ads you’ve led the charge on.
INFLATION
Show the impact you’ve made over the last 6 to 12 months, and how you’re taking on more responsibilities than when your compensation was originally calculated.

It’s tough cuz so much of what we do is subjective and without metrics. But, if you do a lot of pitches and win, you could use the revenue brought in…there’s also awards.
Your best bet is to have another offer in hand
+ if your skills or relationships brought revenue to your p&l over another p&l (if you’re at a large company) it can be positioned as internally winning business
Yeah inflation, the cost of living if you’re in a major city etc but most of all getting a consensus on the general salary for the position in your country is always a great place to start.
But if you’re looking for a big jump you need to be either negotiating title + salary or just look somewhere else.
Hell yeah, it’s basic economics. If you keep making the same amount but everything costs more than it did at first, you’re going to be in the negative. But beyond that yes that’s something that is valid but DON’T lead with that. Throw that in after your more valid work based points, and just say it in a more matter of fact kind of way.
If no one else in the company can do this project besides you, or if you have any outstanding performance...
It doesn’t keep up with the cost of living. Simple math.
New business pitches you worked on that won the business
Client business that was added onto the scope following your participation or directly credited toward you with budget associated for the whole project “we loved working with you on X, can you now do Y”
Clients renewing SOW because they are happy with the work if you’re on that team it’s fair to take your share of that credit and point it out “contributed to x projects for client and they’ve renewed the scope for $x for 2026 and in team feedback they’ve said [insert any type of compliments or credit shared that was creative driven]
Any results you have that are impressive “campaign for x client stood out as case study to help win future work because of [insert impressive results esp if they can be attributed to the creative in any specific ways]
