Reach out to your government's (state level is best) small business website. It should give you guidelines based on your type of business. Also, look into local economic development authorities to see if they provide small business resources. Your local community colleges sometimes offer free small business courses and counseling.
You will need to work on the business plan, health guidelines, licensing and certificates, funding, if necessary, etc. Look into a small business lawyer for setting up the business.
Starting a business that involves food involves a lot of factors related to safety and cleanliness. You might want to contact your local authorities and see what's required to get a license in food handling and preparation. And, another issue is scaling your product. Having recipes to make sauces and doing it for family and friends is very different that doing it at a scale where you could make a worthwhile profit. There would be equipment costs that could be a problem, depending on your resources.

Have you played around with Chat GPT at all? I think this is the perfect kind of thing to ask Chat GPT to help you plan out. You could ask it to help you create a business plan and/or lay out the strategic steps for your business idea. I've never done something similar, but if i were to start a similar venture I would definitely use AI to help me build a plan.
I have used chatGPT and it has given me some pretty good insight from what I could tell but we all know nothing is as true as someone who has done it. My main goal is to take all responses I get and kind of combine them in a sense if that makes any sense.
+1 for taking this to Chat GPT. With some prompt finagling, you should be able to get it to provide you with a reasonable action plan.

The business stuff is relatively easy - getting the LLC, Logo, website, EIN, etc. I don’t know anything about food products so that’s where I would likely start my research.
Have you looked for any small business marketplaces in your area that are looking for good vendors ?
Packaging should be at the top of your list. If you have already decided what type of packaging you are going with, make sure you test your finished product with the packaging to properly evaluate your product's shelf life. You will need real-time testing to figure out how long your product remains acceptable and safe. How long does it retain its quality while stored in its intended packaging. You must track changes in appearance, texture, flavor, aroma throughout the testing period. Consider factors such as shipping and keep in mind sustainability.
