I'm 8 months into a job at a small law firm where I genuinely love everyone I work with. My bosses are incredible and my coworkers are the best. But the reality is I'm severely underpaid with no path to partnership. I was offered a position elsewhere with a market salary, bonuses, and a partnership track. I know I need to take it, but I'm so nervous about disappointing these people who've been so good to me. How do I give notice respectfully?

Will there be any bonus announcement with regards to Gratitude week similar to what was announced last year as April Bonus? Any chatter around this people.

Not NYC but in a market that was recently bumped up to the previous Cravath scale market. Base is obviously set. Am I being paid competitively? I have been the Onboarding Sup for my HR dept for over a year now and I’m being paid the state min for salary, which for CA is 62,400. I have not gotten a merit raise since the last 2 January’s, the state raises the threshold for salary folks. My company says that was my raise. Is this right? I bring a background from the clinical operations of my company, scheduling, field work, and what the average employee faces. I want to look else where but I’m not sure.

What is considered a “large” caseload in employment litigation? I work at a large L&E boutique law firm and handling about 14-15 active litigation cases in state/federal court or arbitration.
