I joined Tiger Analytics with CTC of 9lpa. When I check in greythr IT statement, it shows 7.14lpa.
In the CTC payslip, it shows 75k per month as my salary. But this month I got 61k.
I understand they deduct tax, but I feel it is too much. IDK where I'm losing the money. Can someone tell if this is normal. I'm a fresher so, IDK much about it.
Also, what can I do to pay less taxes? Any help on that?
Hi Guys,
I have been assigned to a Unbillable Project, they are building one app and have recruited people from the talent pool. The project is not registered in GLOW. And they are calling it as Voluntary Contribution type project for studio. Is this what they call Internal Project in Globant?
Will there be any impact if I don't perform as per their expectations?
Will it be of any benefit to me if work in voluntary project? Will HR recognize this project contribution as valid work?

I became burned out after having been working for 15 years as a designer, art director, and ACD. Emotionally and creatively I was done so I went back to school and got a masters in urban studies. It was an amazing challenge and rejuvenated me creatively. Sometimes you have to step out of something for a while only to appreciate it later.
Love this. What are you doing with the new degree now?
Try joining a startup environment if you need room to explore and grow while keeping your resume in tact. I did that as my first job and quickly learned what I enjoyed about business.
The degree is a social science research degree that set me up for a PhD. There is a lot of overlap with branding and UX that I really enjoy and it was one of the reasons why I was hired by my agency. We have several government contracts and they've leveraged my education to win new clients.
I'd like to eventually work at a company that focuses on sustainable economics particularly with complimentary currencies. I'm a work in progress. 😁
Started as a creative and moved into strategy after a bunch of people quit all at once and I stepped in to fill a gap.
Try going in-house. If you have killer taste and are articulate when it comes to creative consulting and feedback, you will grow. You will learn more about being a marketer vs just a designer.
I understand your plight. I've done a lot of continuing education these past few years in UX to make me more marketable. It can be scary and overwhelming at first but also very interesting and exciting. There are a lot of programs out there that can give you the UX/UI basics and help you decide what path you want to take.
