I'm a male and I feel uncomfortable when other males go out of their way to open doors for female coworkers or let them get on/off the elevator first

Ya, I think it is a nice gesture, but only if it "makes sense". Otherwise, it is just awkward.

OP. Suggest you grow the fuck up.

Haven't we discussed this already today ?

The elevator thing - when it's packed and the guy standing against the door wouldn't get out first to let the female behind him go... WTF let us out!

like

It can be super uncomfortable. I'm a female. It's nice when someone is being chivalrous, but then I'm like "my legs are longer am I supposed to slow my roll to let this male partner open the door for me?" Lmao

like

I am a female and think it is really nice to have the door opened

like

I agree. Usually I just let the door close. I also push the close button in the elevator as quickly as I enter it to prevent any other prospective occupants. I'm gender-blind. I discriminate evenly.

Hahahahhahahahaha

You don't have enough work to do. If you were busy, stupid shit like this wouldn't bother you

😂 Troll on my friend

Ugh

Well I guess the real reason is why do you feel uncomfortable? Do you not want to do it, but you feel like you have to?

Probably because you're an all around douche

For those who moved from a client serving role to an internal role in public accounting while at a fairly high level (experienced manager or senior manager), did you take a pay cut or does your pay stay flat when you transition with minimal increases in subsequent years? Also what role are you in now? I really like EY and the company. I’d like to look at moving to an internal role but I’m worried I’ve priced myself out (currently at around 140k comp in LCOL).
