I’m a solo advisor trying to build my practice. what are the benefits of joining FPA for someone like me? Only have limited time so trying to make sure it would be worth the time and cost.

At my university the consulting program is up and coming. Now I am part of consulting club leadership and want to know:
What do you wish your consulting club did for you to land a high profile consulting gig and be successful in it?

I’m graduating in December, with a background in environmental economics and policy. Consulting didn’t work out this cycle. Made it to final rounds for Bain and Kearney but in the end didn’t get an offer. I want to recoup and try again, but I’m worried that once I’m out of undergrad the door will be closed to starting in consulting.

What can I do to make this happen? I have friends and connections at Bain and Kearney and the other firms as well, but not sure if it’s feasible now.

What are your opinions on getting too much work in early phase of career? I have almost one year of experience and after switching to a new organisation I have like alot of work in my plate. I’m a CRC who manages Investigator- led clinical research projects and I want to transition to a PM role in industry (I would slightly prefer not a PM role in clinical trials since I don’t have clinical trial experience.) I’ve applied to PM roles at many biotech companies (e.g. Charles River, ICON, Paraxel) but only got 1 interview which didn’t work out. Which companies should I look to for an entry level PM role? There is an opportunity in another office to build out their business in a large industry that I identified. The office has very little client base within the industry. The partners do not have experience in the industry and there are no senior managers or managing directors in that office.
