How are salaries in Montreal for planners?
I am about to receive an offer from ADP Hyd. I have 12+ YOE. What is the grade that will be best suited as per my exp? I'm in AWS, My current sal is , 23L base 13L JB 100 RSU (comprising 29L ) should I get 48L from ADP? I already have an offer of 32L fixed+10L variable + 6.4L JB from Accenture as L7 Mgr/Sol Arch. Among Accenture & ADP what would be better? (I personally feel as Accenture is purely a service based organisation, a higher salary would be a little risky, not sure thou) ADP Accenture

already doing, but with a hefty raise. Is there really no way to manage this while staying with one firm? Is my mistake really that I didn't start somewhere else first and then come to Deloitte later?
I know the feeling. I love the people at Deloitte too much to wanna bounce around...
That's why I love Accenture's new flat leveled salaries... Everyone gets paid the same regardless of whether you come from within or as an experienced hire
All analysts are 75k. All consultants are 102k. All senior consultants (MBA hires) are 120k. All managers are 160k. All SMs are 200k. There are also strong rumors MC will follow the same next year. I can see however why tech wouldn't do it because they have a huge variety of skills and specialties within a speciality.
It's actually also a very socially responsible policy... If I leave in middle America why should my salary be lower while the guy who lives on the coast gets paid more than me just because he chose to live there? It spreads equality of pay and you're responsible for your own cost of living decisions if you want to save less and live in a big city
@A1 It looks like consulting (MC & TC) are aligning this year
@A1 For consulting, location is still a big factor for salary. With the regional staffing, acn needs to be competitive with local industry - not necessarily simply for cost of living
Nice i came in 75 as an analyst. At 81k now as a senior analyst in DC area. Hope this trend upwards continues. Means we should be that much more valuable should the shift to industry ever be necessary
Sounds like ur a positive person. I think you'll do fine at other firm
My friends at MBBs tell me it's the same so may be the big four will follow one day too
BAH- they don't make you bounce if you're a to performer
Acn1, that's only strategy tho
A1, that's only true for Strategy starting at the Manager level
*140k for senior consultants
@Accenture 1, some of your figures are wrong but for consultants but that's okay. MBA comes in at 145. Not 120. It's 100 for a consultant and then 10k raises each year if you don't have an MBA. Manager is 160, senior manager 200.
A1- most analysts are not at 75... I'm at 90 as a senior analyst and most of my peer analysts/senior analysts are in the 80s/90s on the east coast + Houston/Chicago/ Milwaukee.
New analysts will be starting at ~80-85k next year on the west coast (non-strategy)
Isn't there up or out at Deloitte which will make you bounce whether you like it or not?
You can always leave and come back. If you finesse it, you will get 20-30% bump regardless of where you jump. Then you can work at the new place for 18-24 months and come back to Deloitte for another bump.
@B1 what is the raise if you have an mba? More than 10k?
