I’m an engineer with 6yoe in Oil/Gas and looking to pivot into consulting. Deloitte just posted Senior Consultant - Corporate Compliance & Operational Risk - Energy, Resources & Industrials. This seems like a good role to transition from engineering. Do referrals help get interviews at Deloitte and could someone refer?

My first round of interview cleared for Walmart Walmart global tech but HR didn't schedule the 2nd round after 3 weeks, and he mentioned that there is some migration of tools are happening, is this the real reason or something else, Anyone face similar issues is this real or any other reason ?

Get into Consulting instead of Advisory
They also had Advisory Manager role which was similar. I might apply to both.
Similar roles are available at Accenture if you’re interested. Feel free to message me.
I’d be happy to refer you (or even just connect and discuss Deloitte) if interested. I’ve had several successful referrals and I like to think that’s because I put in extra legwork.
Regardless, best of luck!
Why the interest in consulting? I was in engineering as well and I honestly miss it!
Hi all, having interview at ExxonMobil Bengaluru for Mech Project Engineer, 9.5 years experience. What CTC to demand, could someone give an idea. Thanks in advance.
