I’m coaching a junior member of the team now and he often asks this kind of questions that drives me crazy: Should I put the same thing as last year in the WP? Is it all the same as last year? Last year they had this evidence but we don’t have this year, is it okay? I did explain the whole testing principles and logic, so why am I still getting this type of lazy questions?

I usually tell them the work last year wasn’t that great due to time constraints. We need to get better quality this year.

Sometimes, giving a checklist per control type can also be helpful with new comers .

It could also be “beginners nerves”! Some people dream about working for big 4 auditing. When you get there they may want to be perfect and over think everything

You may want to think about how to build confidence in his work and thought process

Something is not sticking with the junior member, or you may have to explain it better. I find that you must adjust your coaching/training/mentoring approach to each individual - some can take what you give and run with it while others will require hand holding for a bit before they approach the work independently. I’d start by asking them if everything is ok.

I'm the only associate on a case with two partners. The elderly, managing partner thinks that a party has had three prior wrecks, I'm confident that the party only had one. My natural instinct is to assume rejection if I have conflict with a partner or don’t think my feelings are reciprocated. I’ll try to bring it up with them, but I’ll say “if you want to end this feel free” so it doesn’t hurt me (and they can say what they really mean instead of sugarcoating). My boss won’t stop sexually harassing me. Verbally, email, texts - 400+. He even set up his office with a display of sex toys and edibles condiments to show me that he planned to give me oral sex. All started 3 weeks into the job. I moved my family cross country for this job and just bought a house. I gave my various rounds of interview in Deloitte USI 2 months ago, and since then till last Friday it was showing " interview in progress" on their job portal, HR said earlier that we are interviewing other candidates. I got an offer from Amazon last week and asked Deloitte recruiter to speed up the process, i didn't get any reply on my email but now it's showing " review in progress" on the job portal. What does it mean? Shall I wait for Deloitte offer or take Amazon's offer.

I have a splunk question…. When would it be appropriate to use a dashboard instead of the actual logs to validate that all changes are being logged.
