I’m currently scheduled for a final round interview at a firm for a role, but I’m not 100% sure I would accept the position if it were offered. It’s at a top company, and I want to make the most strategic decision for preserving future opportunities with the company. In your experience, is it better to politely withdraw from the process ahead of time if I have doubts, or to go through with the interview, do my best, and potentially decline the offer if it’s extended?
