I’m having trouble finding salary data on Comms/Connections Strategy roles specifically. Does anyone have salary ranges for Sr. Strategist/manager level roles and/or Associate Director level roles within comms planning or connections planning departments? How do comms/connections strategy salaries differ from creative strategy salaries? Looking specifically at NYC/Boston area and 5-7 years experience.

For comms Sr Strategy I’d say between 85-100. AD between 100-120. Obviously different between agencies and locations.

Looking to pivot into healthcare consulting. I come from a MHA background with a two year Administrative Fellowship following it. Any experience breaking into one of the top consulting firms with this type of background?

15 YOE, recently started my first tech PR job at a large, stable company & have been asked to get ~20 SMEs in front of media. Subject matter is not sexy. I lead PR for all of U.S. & have no other PR colleagues. My agency’s budget is 100k/year & they’re spread too thin to hit their KPIs. I feel set up to fail & feel we should be focusing on a handful of SMEs and only our sexiest topics. Any advice on mitigating unrealistic expectations for coverage? Anyone handled similar problems in the past?

Connections and comms strategy are changing with the industry. Where do you bring the most value to teams and clients today, and where / how do you see that evolving ?

Hi all, does anyone have a good framework they would recommend for developing HCP/physician communication strategies and defining tactics for HCP engagement (outside of pharma reps)? There is of course a ton out there for patient communications such as patient journey mapping but engaging HCPs is a very different beast. Looking for something a bit more nuanced than a traditional consumer framework. Thanks!

What would you recommend for comms planning training and/or books (other than Julian Cole - which I have done)? Looking at adding more comms planning to my skill set (which is more brand and digital at present). I’m on a client-side team (for context).

Campaign Roll Out / Cadence

I want to get smart on best ways to plan content / paid media over time. I have Julian Cole's template from his 'Framework Factory' - kinda helpful but I always default to a "pre / hero moment / post" cadence and it feels lazy/unoriginal.

Are there books/articles/classes that unpack high level scenarios? Any particular agencies that are masterfuI at this? Don't think I need to get into the nitty gritty of media buying but it'd help to understand basic principles
