Hello fishes, I got email from Accenture stating you did not clear skill interview required for this role. We are u able to proceed with your candidature. Is there any chance HR might call after this ? Performed exceptionally well for other questions.except the online coding tool. Not sure why I was asked to code suddenly. I explained the logic used and code was compiling without any error.but they needed exact output in the tool. Any thoughts?
Anybody recommend a good recruiter in NYC? Been applying left and right to analyst positions but haven’t gotten any hits. Hoping a recruiter can help.
EY FAAS, are you expected to participate in Bus dev efforts and win work as a senior? Also are you solo or have a team/ mentors to work on engagements with? had only 20mins interview, no time for questions. Lol
It’s been nearly 7 years since I’ve interviewed. Came to my firm right out of college. Getting back into it after all this time. For the first two companies I’ve spoken to, I’ve spent nearly 6 hours a piece on just the interviews themselves. Is this normal these days? I hate to complain but it seems like a big time commitment, especially since nothing is guaranteed. I also understand it’s my choice to put myself thru the misery 😬 - just looking for some insight on what you’ve experienced.
I feel like I’m not getting any interview calls inspire of having 10yes of experience in SAP across consulting firms and now EY experience also added. Recent grad trying to break into art directing. I can’t afford portfolio school so I’m resorting to creating a “homemade” portfolio book. I have the graphic design skills, and I am willing to invest a few thousand into creating my book. What advice and resources would you recommend for this endeavor?
Looking for some insight! What role(s) in GCP would be a fit for someone who is great at building research prototypes and then leveraging/leading software engineers to realize the details and build them out? Eg is there a role responsible for bridging the gap between the 'cool things' clients want to do and translating that into a prototype and technical requirements for others to code (in the networking/AI/ML/data science space)? What would that be called at google? Thank you!
As a general rule, how bad is it to test out the waters by applying to a job, getting the offer, and then rejecting it -“now’s not the right time” - while staying at your current company? Blacklisted?
Currently an S1 in TR in the north west, making 94k. Just started talks with KPMG, what should I throw out there for salary expectations? I stated 110k and was told that’s in range, just want to make sure I’m not undercutting myself.
Just got laid-off at Arnold with 30 other people... but then again, what did we really have to work on!?
I seriously forgot what it's like to work a normal 40 hours. I've been working at least 50 hours (billable) since last summer due to staff cuts with my only breaks being thanksgiving and Christmas and some PTO sprinkled here and there. It feels like this is the new normal for a lot of people in public

Hi ladies, I need some advice on how to navigate/build a relationship with my fiance's family. Some of his siblings and family members are very standoffish and distant. For background, we are same race different culture. I'm very open and I've learned a lot from my fiance over the years. However, I believe his family still sees me as an outsider and they don't invite me to certain things. At times, it feels isolating and it makes me feel unwelcomed. They're also supposed to be in my wedding.
Came out of a pretty toxic work environment and therapist has basically said I have PTSD. Trying to get past it, while aiming to excel in new team but finding it hard to voice my thoughts/opinions given previous experience. Also experiencing the beginnings of burnout, caring for a 4 year old and full time work. Oh and any thoughts of promotion are truly gone...any ideas on work strategy?
Have any of you become desensitized to $$? I feel like nothing under $100 really registers or a 300-500 expense is what spending $75 used to feel like. I don’t make crazy money (130K) and still save fine but could be better. Is this just getting older? How to ground myself?
Bonus: - 7% Recent CPI reports: 6-7% inflation I directly sourced and did 80% of the legwork to get the partners a $26mm new account (where we had previously been fired in 2020) with a potential $9mm contract extension in 1Q21. Time to lateral back to financial advisory. Happy Thursday!
