I’m interviewing for a job that's almost exclusively spreadsheet and data management. I'm hesitant to accept an offer (if I get one) because they will want me in the office 5 days a week. My current job is hybrid, but the environment there is awful, and I need out. But I don't want to trade one problem for a useless commute. Should I try to negotiate a hybrid schedule with them or wait for something else?

I cannot get an interview to save my life. I was so excited to get an externship summer after 2L with a small business and IP firm only to get yelled at on the phone a few times for not doing an assignment correctly. Mind you, I was working FOR FREE as it was a school connected externship. That made me never want to work in the law.
