Thoughts on a Omega De Ville Prestige as a first luxury watch? Would be ~$7.5K USD at retail. Some friends have said great things about Omega as a starter, whereas others say it’s not worth it over a Rolex Oyster Perpetual (which would be similar in cost).
I personally love how clean the design is, the use of gold, and the thinner band as it links the watch … find the Rolex band design to be too chunky.

Haha......I will update in a second.
Congrats on losing almost 2 lbs this week, even without working out. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
When do you usually exercise?
I’m really good at being consistent with my workouts when I can get off of work by 6! The challenge is actually getting off by then 😒 I’m working from home and did try a workout over lunch once! I just don’t really know how to cut my workout short. Just the cardio portion took about 35 minutes, so to fit the weights and actually eating in there too is almost impossible 😕

Any update this week, buddy?
Yes, just forgot to weigh in yesterday morning so had to delay a day. Status update will post shortly.
Week 16 update:
Weight: 265.6 (1.6 lbs lost)
Workouts: 0/3
Surprisingly good results last week despite a poor diet. Focus will be getting at least two workouts in this week - no excuses! I also made chili for my dinners this week, so should see positive results next week.

You can aim for half of that: 5.3. You normally burn about 2/3 lbs a week.
Week 17 update:
Weight: 268.5 (2.9 lbs gain)
Workouts: 4/3
So many emotions to describe this week’s results, but the main ones are surprise, frustration, and disappointment. I ate relatively healthy, and I got a ton of exercise in (both cardio and strength training), so I was expecting positive results. This is going to be a hard week to stay motivated 😔

I agree. In-person motivation is usually more productive than virtual ones. That’s why many people hire coaches & attend group classes. If this is an option for you, definitely go for it.
But in the absence of the optimal accountability option, do you really want to forego the progress you’ve made in the last couple of weeks/months? You’re closer to your goal than when you started.
You can certainly change strategy; maybe you can switch your goal to finding an offline person to whom you can be accountable. There are many weight loss programs out there that can also be of help.
Also, if it will help, you can explain what you’re struggling with and I (or someone else) can provide ways to overcome it.
