Mostly want to explore other areas. Other things to consider: planning for babies in the next 3-5 years; maternity leave in current position is basically what's legally required.

Currently a paralegal at a small start up financial services company been there for just a little over a year. I wear “multiple hats” but more recently I’ve done a lot of PM work and some BA work. My position title is changing soon but I’m wondering how helpful that would be for wanting to go into PM work at a tech company. Anyone have any career pivot advice? I am a senior at a top 50 regional firm and have been here for a year. Prior to this was 2 years at a smaller firm. I am interviewing in industry and have not landed a gig yet. I am wondering if it is because industry folks are not familiar with my firm. I am thinking about making a switch to a top 10 PA firm and sticking it out until manager and then reevaluating a move to industry. If my ultimate goal is to move to industry, would you suggest moving to a larger PA firm for brand recognition?

Can someone please for the love of god help me figure out how I can pay less income taxes? I only make 88k and I put the 12k standard deduction but I’m still getting taxed 27% of my paychecks!
