Today, I showed a TED Talk about the Guatemalan genocide. We were discussing the role of forensic anthropologists. It made such an impact on my students. I teach in a super red state and district and often my students do not see the pain of our Central American neighbors and why they seek asylum here. I tied their plight to my mom’s post-WWII and asked them why she was welcomed by our current immigrants are not. It was so powerful. One of my LatinoX students told me thank you for today’s lesson.

I'm US based and my salary is around $250k (NYC) -I've been asked my expectation without the startup giving me a range to work from (though I've asked). Big4 has clear trajectory and interesting work.
