I’m not sure if this was a reprimand or not. As soon as I got to work yesterday, my coworker/ front desk supervisor wanted to have a chat about how certain things didn’t get done on my shift Saturday Night , and she said it wasn’t a reprimand, it sure felt like a reprimand, she mentioned how trash didn’t get taken out to the dumpster, and how one of the door’s didn’t get locked. When I know I locked all the door’s

I agree with SM1. If it was a reprimand it would be very clear to you that it was. It was just some feedback. Feedback is a good thing. It’s free information and an opportunity to work on things and be better at what you do!

Really? If your job was to do those things, and you didn't, you need to be reminded. If you consider a reminder in a normal tone a "reprimand" - which usually brings with it some sort of "punishment" - perhaps you are overly sensitive and need to tighten up how you take care of job duties. When somebody else has to cover for you, you have messed up - serious or not - and it can be pointed out to you. Just sayin'...

After 2 years of a pandemic and working independently for many years, I am not feeling interviews AT ALL. There are points in the interview where I want to just say "Look! Either hire me or don't".

How can I get over this feeling? I'm over the whole "stand in the line of fire to prove how good I am" bs. Any recommendations for getting over this or possible industries to pivot into to avoid bs interview processes and ghosting?

Hello all, my first post. Anyone else feel like their general manager won't promote them because they're afraid you'll make them look bad. Like they don't do their job well enough so you'll outshine them? Do you stay? Leave? Try to build the relationship? It's been a year. @Aimbridgehospitalityllc

Thinking of switching employers. Do you think bigger retail stores (the ones that have several locations) are easier or harder to work at than little hole-in-the-wall grocery stores (which is all I've ever done)? It seems like the larger chain stores would have more downtime, but I'm wondering if anyone could give some input.

Hi, I'm an employee at a hotel chain who works remotely. I've been working remotely for over a year now and I love it! The company I work for is very supportive of remote workers, which is great.

But there's one thing that's been bothering me: it's hard to get feedback on my work when I'm not in the office. It would be great if there was some kind of system that let me know how my performance was being evaluated while I'm working on projects from home.

Like which kind of job I could apply for and get hired that would help me to climb up the fastest?
Thank you in advance!
