I used to work for a large retail chain. They were notorious for scheduling me to work 10 days straight and one off one on and one off, then start the whole thing over. I talked to them about it and the only change was, between my 2 days off I worked 2 on instead of just 1. I was the only one with that schedule. Let's just say "I didn't last long"
You could have tried if it was that large a chain changing your availability.
That's the worst, I hope it goes quickly for you! When I was working in a restaurant, I had to work 9 or 10 days of double shifts because a coworker quit. In at 8 AM, out at 10 PM with an hour lunch and two 15 minute breaks. I was a zombie by the end of it. But the overtime pay was nice!

I think I’m slowly becoming a zombie as we speak lol
and it's value*
A 38 day stretch while still in high school 😭
I worked for 24 days straight with no overtime. My boss was on vacation and then one of the senior most employees went on vacation. Mind you there were only 4 employees for the store. 24 days and once they were both back, I got my 2 days off.

24 days straight is crazy im sorry you had to work that much with not overtime
How about when the pandemic was at its height & your lovely (ha) co-workers all got paid for staying home when you were working even harder on the front lines , they still now there & you medically now paying the price for it out of work being pushed out. Think twice about jeopardizing your own health thinking you both are being a valued employee as well as earning some much needed income. That "extra money" won't remotely cover even a small portion of the medical expenses you'll incur once your health becomes compromised from that even heavier workload & added stress . Learn from my mistakes.
I did all but one day out of an entire month one time about three years ago at a previous job. Had to cover a different area than my normal spot, and I was one of two people on that shift who knew the specific area. They only had the other person cover the one day because it was a day they were otherwise off and therefore they didn't have to worry about having to pull them back to their area and have me come in. Had one week out of it that ended up really nice on the paycheck because of overtime and a holiday in the same week.
1. That's a lot of days for you to work and if you need to tell your main supervisor about the schedule, let her know. that schedule could get you close to a burn out.
2. They better pay you and give you vacation cause 10 days straight sounds like hell.
7 days for me. I didn't complain because I had a 4 day weekend coming up. lol My boss was surprised I didn't say anything. We have an app that does our schedules for us so managers don't do them any more.
