I'm stuck with a MacBook pro (small screen). IT team is not ready to give bigger one because of non availability.

How do you look at that all day long without stressing your eyes? M1 is good and all but I've to make weird back postures/level my head at different angles to be able to see stuff on it. Feels like torture. This little machine should be banned.

Went from a big firm to work for a smaller firm. The people in the smaller firm are protective of their work and are good by their work too. I no longer feel chaos or stress. I am treated with respect and my schedule is more normal. I am even working more billable hours than before, but it feels like a seamless experience. I don’t work then past 5pm or anything out of the ordinary for this time of the year. I am so grateful!

I think I read about some kind of process where when an applicant reaches out to a current student or alum for a 1:1 and makes a good impression, the student/alum can send a message to the adcom letting them know? Is it like a "Hey I connected with this applicant and had a great conversation with them. I think they would be a great fit for the program" type of thing?

Let's see how many hours most people are spending on office work.
From last 2 months I am working more then 12 hours a day and one day on weekend. Although this doesn't happens 12 months a year but after 12 hours on average is too much.
