I’m traveling to Maine from Georgia in a couple of weeks and will be flying into Boston and renting a car. I am reading about Mass. Covid travel rules and I am wondering if I would qualify as a transitory traveler since I’m just passing through. The website only talks about people that are driving through so I was wondering if anyone has done something similar recently. Also, if anyone has flown into BOS recently, how did they check to see if you exempt from the Covid rules?

They don’t enforce at all

like

I did the exact thing, flew into BOS and drove into Maine. No checks. If your staying in a hotel you have to sign a waiver but they don’t enforce anything. They didn’t even check my negative test results, which was a little disappointing because I had stressed about trying to get a test for a week. I only signed the waiver after I asked about it at check out and the desk clerk said it didn’t even matter. Airbnb host also never asked

Week of July 13, so exactly a month ago

Mine was yesterday (just got back)

Was there for two weeks and never asked whether I had a test/was quarantining

like

Get a test right before you leave, or in MA as you drive up to be safe (multiple places in MA have instant tests). No one is going to check on anything so you will be fine regardless. Just don’t be the person that brings covid to Maine

That’s why I’d check out doing it in MA. There are a decent amount of places you could walk in and get a test and results in less than an hour. But ideally it would be nice to know before you leave haha

Any thoughts/insights on how the travel aspect would play out in PwC's Salesforce practice in the post COVID world? Will they want us to be on the road 4 days a week or it will be much more hybrid? If it's the latter, how much % of travel should someone working at PwC's Salesforce practice expect?
