What does your employment agreement or code of conduct say? Probably “no”
I’m on the outside now and have hired ex-consultants. If I saw a resume with client names and project details, I’d bin it. Shows you can’t be trusted.
What you did is far more important than who you did it for. The client name should not be the most impressive part of your resume.
Honestly don’t be goofy about giving clues that ID the client. “Large Bay Area Social Media network” is the same as just saying Facebook. Just stick to what matters: “Growth stage healthcare firm” or “Global food and bev company” is fine.
Facebook actually has no problem saying you worked for them as long as you make it clear you were a contingent worker and not an employee though.
You’d be obviously violating confidentiality, and that is a RED flag.
One last question lol. During the interview can you mention any names? I have a feeling someone will ask
No.
You shouldn’t have to name drop to be able to describe the industry and work you have done
Should I just include the project title and dates with no client description. Or include client description? With the description resume seems very long
You can always take a page from proposal resumes.
"Major Pharmaceutical company"
"Large International Hospitality company"
And such
You can do small name drops in the final interviews, but its unessasary, but saying things like a Major w.e A major fortune 100 or 500 company should be sufficient
Don’t you mean when more happen
