I'm working in customer service for a personal budgeting app SaaS, and I want to transition to a lifecycle marketer or copywriter. I'm having difficulty making this transition.

All the lifecycle and copywriter jobs I'm applying for always send me "does not fit" emails because my resume focuses more on customer service roles.

How do you switch or transition careers? Do you have any recommendations or tips I can follow?

Is there a difference between director and managing director at BDO? I interviewed for a managing director position but my offer letter says director.

I received a job offer from company A and am currently negotiating salary. I have an interview with company B next week and know that they offer a higher base pay. There’s no guarantee that I will be offered a job at company B but my gut is telling me that company B would be a better fit for me. Should I accept the offer from company A, continue interview process with company B and then rescind my offer with company A if company B offers me a job? Will I be burning bridges?

Anyone sincerely concerned there will be hiring freezes with the coronavirus? I’ve been diligently applying and reaching out to my contacts for the past two months and am getting discouraged.

I started interviewing early Oct with a company that reached out via recruiter. The hiring manager was very straight forward with me that I was his top candidate and I was told all other interviews were very positive incl CMO. The recruiter said they'd be making an offer but it's now been three weeks. Anyone else had the process drag on like this? I had a bad experience with CTS even my interview gone well I got negative feedback. May be they have budget/notice period constraints, if that is the case why would they conducted interviews with out basic checks

I applied to a job at KPMG and did the first two rounds of interviews, general interview, then case study and competency. Never before have I had such a positive feedback at the end of an interview of the 2nd, both said really like me, I did well etc.

Should I stay it out and wait for TC to align or take the promotion and jump ship bc I will likely get paid more elsewhere given how recruiters/other companies eat up hiring recently promoted ppl from other firms?
