DFW airport was horribly designed
By far the most logically designed airport in the world
Don’t mess with Texas. Our airport is great. Sorry you can’t figure it out.
I’m NY based and I must say it’s a lot more intuitively designed than anything up here. A lot of the frustration I suspect is coming from people with tight connections dealing with a large airport
I know everyone says it’s actually a decent airport, but the amount of times I’ve had to sprint to grab a connection in ORD makes me hate it with a burning passion
Why did you take a taxi?? DFW train runs every few mins and hits every terminal
If "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery" and DFW is so wonderful, how come every airport built since, isn't designed like it? (Kansas city is the only one I can think of and it sucks)
DFW is shit. IAH is a great airport though. Leave it to Dallas to screw something up
Yea, but Houston is the armpit of the world. I'd rather DFW
I don’t get the frustration with DFW. It is the easiest airport ever! If you have connection just take the SkyLink.
Atk2 - don’t embarrass us, if you think an escalator is a safety hazard you live a pretty sheltered life. Also the train runs every 90 - 120 seconds both directions.
DFW’s rental car shuttles (frequency) are the worst and have limited Precheck lines in non-American terminals
DFW is not so great and AA has the worst redemption options.
LaGuardia is such an underrated airport tbh, I hated on it my whole life because it was a thing to hate on it but then I started flying from there and it’s just so convenient and fast compared to most other airports I’ve been to. JFK sucks ass though
“Or you can take that 12 mile path through the scaffolding to the cab stand shuttle, where 8000 people are standing in line"
Those New York airports were built a long time ago and obviously have limited space with which to work. DFW could’ve been built and designed so much better. It’s so car centric that it takes forever to move around for connections. It’s also just too big. Denver is similar in that it had the space to be better designed and it’s shit. It’s also pretty new. I hate that the airport road itself is 11 miles and when you arrive you still have to take a train to yourbteriminal
Never had a problem with Denver. Maybe just me though, central train works pretty nice.
If we want to bitch about airports let’s talk about Chicago O’Hare
