A full on vacation to an all inclusive to do barely anything
ah that sounds nice. i have never been to an all-inclusive resort!
I think you defined it. If I’m just looking to relax, I don’t have to go anywhere. There are many places at home that still make me feel like a tourist. I use PTO to create 4-day workweeks all summer. I love travel adventures, but I never go to work the next day. I need a stay to recover.
I wish we got rest days on top of vacation days haha
I'll take the full-on travel adventure. I used one of my PTO weeks to go to Peru last year and visit Machu Picchu and a ton of other places. We were up at 5 pretty much every morning and it was an exhausting whirlwind of a trip, but it was completely worth it.
that sounds amazing! I have always wanted to go to Peru!
Staycations are vastly underrated. I love to use the time to disconnect and relax. I also plan for a little bit of adventure, exploration and some new restaurants in my city and splurge on some things I normally don’t.
i agree! it is so good for mental health to relax at home
I like a small travel adventure. Something close, definitely a hotel. When I'm home, I just feel like I should be doing chores or getting things done.
