I keep it
That 4x on groceries has given me a good chunk of points over the years
Pro
I personally would trade up to the platnum card. If you travel there are a lot of great perks -- lounge access, Global Re-entry / Pre-check, clear, $200 flight credit, uber credit, hotel status, etc
They’re now also charging $50 to bring a guest to centurion lounges for a card that’s already at $695. Most of the new benefits are gimmicks or you need to spend even more money to feel like you’re getting any benefits whatsoever.
Amex Gold has 4x categories that are generally more useful for daily use so I’d stick to that personally. I have both Gold and Platinum but planning on canceling my Platinum soon.

The only good feature is 4x grocery so calculate if you get enough points from that to justify the annual fee.
the ubereats and grubhub money is worth it. Plus its my primary card for groceries
If you mostly spend money on groceries and eating out/ delivery it offers a great ROI. Amex offers helps too.
