Incoming EY experienced hire here! Anyone knows if new hire can take full maternity leave within a year? Just found that I’m pregnant right before joining in the firm, and worry whether I can take the full period maternity leave after join in the firm for 6 months

One of my senior managers is a boomerang and told me she was laid off when she was 7 months pregnant about 10 years ago. I think she was a senior or manager. She was in a specific group and everybody was laid off. It wasn’t performance based.

Tax senior with CPA at small firm. Best way to get to Big 4 audit? (LA or OC) Went to non-target so little to no alumni at B4. I don’t mind the switch to a lower title since audit was always my preference and was never a fan of tax (stayed local for family).
