Information on Danaher: I'm reviewing an offer for a leadership role in UX/Research at a Danaher subsidiary. Has anyone had any experiences with Danaher culture? Toxic? Working with their Xaas products? Working with the remote UX team? Women in leadership roles?

Danaher seems to seamless integrate their acquisitions, convert to their operating model, and radically lift standards in that industry.

Should one add their personal technology that are currently used for remote work on their resume? Seems most companies will provide the hardware and software needed. However, it’s unclear if the employer will provide this through Teamviewer/VPN connection or will send an actual computer. Along with this, would it be pertinent to add your internet capability (speed, fios/cable/satellite/dsl)?

If you could reinvent the way companies recruit, what would you do differently?

I know I would make it a standard across the board that every hiring process could not have more than 2 steps.

I believe that with that limit, people would get more creative and come up with better assessments (but maybe I’m being naive?) 😅

I am product designer with a fair amount of experience (6yrs).

Recently was interviewed for a Sr. role in Booking but unfortunately, the team finds me better suited as a core individual contributor.

I am also in the advanced stages of some lead designer positions in other companies.

However, I am really interested in joining the team at Booking, especially because of the design culture.

What should be my reasons to accept or not accept the offer from booking?

In case this helps someone else, I just turned down a GCP TAM role that was a L5. Disappointing since I think the role would have given me more opportunity to have an impact on the business than where I am now.

Have 5 yrs of salesforce consulting experience. If I left to get a degree in cyber security and came back as a cyber security consultant, is it likely that I’d be brought in at entry level?
