Hi fishes! I had asked for benefits other than CTC which Bank of America provides & now that I've completed 1 month here, here's the list of allowances you'll be getting irrespective of position/band:
1. Sodexo: 1300 p.m./ 15,600 p.a.
2. Transport allowance: 900 one way, 1800 two ways p.m./ 21,600 p.a.
3. Internet: 1500 max p.m. (other than that, one time installation charges)
4. Tuition fee: Any certification related to your field. Like CFA, FRM etc. 3,00,000 p.a.

120K for Consultant with 4years experience is PRETTY Good! already at median of SC salaries
D2, it’s also dependent on where you’re aligned too. Anything is possible in consulting, haha if you’re in advisory, even if you’re stellar, no way you’ll get hired to 120k as a SC with 4 years of experience. Good for op!!!
Hahaha guess they have more money now at the moment. Good for you!! Guess it worked out with what you do. Yeah very competent SCs i know who came to the firm this year none of them got your offer, cause they weren’t offering at that level I guess. I’m talking about folks with at least of 4 years of experience with certs and technical skills
I routinely conduct interviews (tho not for this group). Very often, interviewers may decide to go below or above the stated position based upon the interview. Ie. I’ve interviewed people for SC and decided they’d be a better fit at C; and I’ve interviewed people for C that we were so impressed with we decided to bump up to SC. That *may* explain what happened here. Key for SC is to demonstrate experience leading and managing a team; if you aren’t able to demonstrate, they’ll sometimes bump you down to C.
140 at C will never happen. I believe the top of the C band is 120
If they interviewed you for SC, they should be honoring that. If you’re feeling like you’re accepting less than what you got in for, and you haven’t spoken up, I would be careful. sounds like the beginning of a road of disappointment to me
OP’s interview probably didn’t go well enough for SC so they downgraded to C because they still want him/her. Also maybe the YOE is holding OP back.
