Reach out to people who used to work there. They are the closest thing to an unbiased opinion you’ll get.
Request to speak to your prospective peers and/or other folks in other departments within the company that you can have a more honest conversation about the office vibe.
Search on LinkedIn if you know anyone who already works there through your friends/connections to ask.
Maybe ask about average turnover / tenure?
Glassdoor is always good I think, it'll lean towards the negative stuff so bear that in mind. But when in doubt, ask, and push for the person you're being interviewed by talk in personal terms. What do they like, what have they done which is fun etc?
Also, maybe look for people in your network who are ex employees and ask them?
