Starting the interview process with another company in industrials, and my current TC is ~$600k. Headhunter wants to chat about comp expectations - anyone have advice on how to approach? Is there a minimum bump people tend to shoot for before making the jump (e.g. 25%)? Trying to keep it clean and focus on annual TC, but plan to also communicate I expect to be made whole on my unvested RSUs . TIA!

How to ace first impression during coffee

Would it be terrible of me to quit during my rotation’s busy season? I got put on a mandatory rotation this summer (PwC is big on pulling resources especially now) but I’m really ready to get out. Now that we have work all year long and lack of an off season, isn’t it a good argument to work just 40 hours a week all year long? Of course there will be some 45s, but I feel it can all be managed if leaders are willing to turn away work and still make a good living. I just don’t see the tax profession improving at its current state, am I just being pessimistic? I know the demand will be there but to continue to work 55+ hours doesn’t sound like something I want to continue as I get older.

I have been in client facing wealth management as an advisor for 10 years. I haven’t built a book of business because I’ve worked for mostly discount brokers (Merrill edge, TDA, Etrade). I want to know how to transition to a non client facing role in wealth management or another financial role. I am series 7 and series 66 licensed. Any thoughts?
