Is 1.5 hrs layover enough to catch an international flight at newark airport? Will be traveling with a baby, toddler and my mom who is 60+

I've traveled a lot this year during off peak months, and many flights were delayed 2+hours, requiring rebooking of the next flight and canceling rental cars. Sometimes the connecting gate was on the other side of the airport in another terminal. Despite running, I couldn't reach it in time.

I flew in and out of JFK to get to Azores last month, and passport control lines, then TSA, took about 90 minutes. I'm sure they'll be longer as tourist season kicks off.

Save yourself stress and grief. Stay overnight!

Is it the same airline and did you book both trips together at once? If so and they offer it as one trip, they are responsible for enabling you. And rebook if you don’t make it. If not, it might be a bit risky…

like

Don't fly from/through Newark, especially internationally. Check Philly or JFK.

The FAA just said at least through 2025, if not longer.

If it’s a morning connection then it’s okay for the most part if it’s all under 1 PNR/Booking code/Record Locator. If it’s later in the day, I’d be a bit more concerned but not enough to cancel it however check with the airline to see your options. EWR just opened a closed runway so it should alleviate some pains.

-Coming from someone who flies EWR nearly weekly.

Why would you choose that stress? If everything is perfect, sure! But when does everything go perfectly?

What is the next option? If it is 2.5 hours or even 3, I’d strongly consider switching.

There aren’t many options. There is only 1 international flight out of this airport every day. And this is the earliest I can reach the airport unless I stay in ny overnight

Hi, I'm an employee at a hotel chain who works remotely. I've been working remotely for over a year now and I love it! The company I work for is very supportive of remote workers, which is great.

But there's one thing that's been bothering me: it's hard to get feedback on my work when I'm not in the office. It would be great if there was some kind of system that let me know how my performance was being evaluated while I'm working on projects from home.

I received an offer and asked about their parental leave. I don't plan on having kids anytime soon but would like to in 3-5 years and hope I can start a long-term career here. Was that a weird question to ask? The company initially responded that they are rewriting it so I didn't get much detail.
