It's a big risk moving anywhere without a job lined up but San Francisco probably takes the cake. Do you plan on using a homeless shelter?
Yup. Will last a month while you find a job, a house or marry a millionaire
Definitely. You can do the math. Never been to sfo but imagine a $2.5k apartment. First and last month rent 5k. Get a menial job or do uber for 20 hours a week to cover groceries. That leave you 5 months of time to find a job. Should be fine in this job market
Cmon guys. Is $5k enough per month? Rent food etc. while interviewing. I need a change and am feeling dangerous.
If you’re not bougie af, this is super feasible. Rent is $1500-2000 a month and you can easily get on the low side of that if you live near Balboa Park, Glen Park or Daly City (also readily available in Outer Richmond/Sunset). Ignore the idiots above
Source: Lived in SF for years.
I have done it in New York.
Pursuit of happyness
It’s just on my bucket list and right now I don’t have kids. But about 30. My only concern is missing out on FS clients in the East coast.
definitely
Tent community all the way
I’ve see some fancy tents dudes. Don’t play.
What’s your salary West Monroe? Is West Monroe hiring?
West Monroe is hiring in all major cities PWC. Check out our postings if you’re into something different from Big Four in our outside of SF. You might not need to move for a breathe of fresh air.
You’re a fool
EPA can be sketchy, haven't seen prices in Menlo Park but would guess it's on the higher side. I'd look at Redwood city. Roommates are a good option as well. I'm paying $1200 a month with 2 roommates that I never see since we're on different schedules. You can eat cheap too and skimp on higher cost meals that still taste good or cook yourself
Also get a 0% interest CC to cover the gaps
It can’t be that bad.
Yeah got 1 month with 24k in sf.
Stop playing Op!
Lol.
