Is a dual degree (MS in Computer Science + MBA) a plus in consulting? My primary interest at the moment is more finance-focused, such as M&A, but I’m also interested in the data and technology sides. In addition to having an MBA, will an MS in Computer Science be helpful in the long run for consulting in general, or does it not really matter because there will be specialists like data scientists?

I am 25 years old - have been in the ‘mortgage underwriting profession for 2.5 years. I have heard some things about getting stuck in a specific assets class and mortgages when pursuing underwriting. I spent a year in tax investigations where I believe I was thriving ( I was going to be an assistant manager in July 2023), I had a lot of assistant manager jobs, I even drafted a Code 9 report to HMRC which my manager said was 80% of an actual report, he then added the 20% and submitted it.
After I realised I couldn't maintain all the unpaid overtime I was working I decided to take a turn and go to compliance, so now I work in CT compliance. I feel very surpressed.
