But my mom had a major health issue and I'm planning to travel back to India to support her as I'm a single child. I'm working in one of the top organisation in Germany with a base of 90k euro and looking for good opportunities in India. This is what you get when you allow software developers with only three years experience to be considered "senior". It is like referring to a military officer with 3 years experience as "general" or "admiral" - it screams with disrespect for the profession. What is the politically correct term for dissing an entire profession? "thought-impared"?
Oh and fundamentally... as long as leadership sees engineering and maintenance as a cost centre they're going to try and reduce costs as much as possible there. They'll try and minimise the work done in those areas entirely.
