DM for referral to EY
sorry it seems I posted the outdated calendar. here’s the updated one.
correct, not sure why, bs though
Come to BT where we have both 1/3 and 1/17 off!
EY3, BT has added a bunch of “disconnect days” (firm holidays) and federal holidays in 2022 to the point where there is at least one per month. For example, we now have MLK Day, Friday before Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Friday before 4th or July, and Veterans Day off, among others.
Yeah we dont get 1/3/22 off - still 12 holidays off at bdo, wished it was like 15 days off
Then we can actually take off
We get MLK day off 1/17/22 though
Hoping to take 1/3/22 off
we are getting MLK Jr day off this year which is in mid January. You will get your 3 day weekend then.
I’m at a mid tier and btw we have unlimited PTO 🙄. We don’t get 1/3 off as a holiday either, but I will be taking it as PTO. Last year they added 2 floating holidays, but unless they decrease my billable budget, it is not much of a perk! They can say you get 20 holidays, but since my billable hours still have to be worked, it is no perk for me. I have to just work more hours on other days to make up for it.
I use a minimum of 20 days of PTO each year even though sometimes I work extra before and after PTO days to be able to take time off. I have brought my laptop with me on family vacations to keep my work moving. It’s really hard to break free! That is a really good thing about this time of year! When I take holiday time off, most of my team and clients are also not working so there is less piling up!
