Anyone else wondering how bad things must be in Ukraine? US has had 1 general killed in 40 years (from an insider attack) and already Russia has had two of their top generals KIA.
Thoughts on this?

JLC MUT Moonphase vs Grand Seiko Snowflake?
I'm planning on getting my first big boy watch and boiled it down to these two.
I really like the snowflake but it's a bit large for my small wrists and the JLC seems a little dressy for an everyday watch. I'm trying to spend under $10k and would appreciate any suggestions other everyday watches. Thanks!
I need help! I dated a girl for the first time and she ghosted me for 2 weeks and now she texted me saying oh I’m sorry I was so busy with work and classes… should I respond and tell she should have told me or just ignore her and move on. I thought dating a girl was going to be easier than dating guys haha
Got pushed into the manager role after a few of my superiors quit and I’m really struggling to fit into a leadership role. Any tips to help me adapt/grow into this position?
$50 Expedia gift cards to everybody in the bridal party? Good or no? That way they can use it for a hotel, flight, etc. Alternatively I was thinking of spending ~$50 for an experience that each of them would like. Examples: 2 lawn tickets to a concert, wine tasting, etc. I’ve been racking my brain on what to do! Y’all probably have seen my posts before. 🤣 Ive always gotten something in a smaller price range (~$5-10) that I end up donating. Fiancé wants to get everybody a Yeti and call it a day.

When is busy season over for the SOX side of stuff? Please tell it doesn’t go past 12/31.
Just transferred from IT Audit to Strategy and Transactions. Been a goal of mine for a while so I’m happy to see it play out. Not posting just to say I did it, but because I’ve been following this bowl for a while and see people get negative about being pigeon holed. There were tons of transferable skills that I was able to highlight that got a role that’s completely different, so I just don’t want anyone feeling discouraged if they’re hitting walls.
And you've got to indicate to the people who run it, to the people who own it -- that unless you're free the machine will be prevented from working at all!!

I’m thinking of making a switch from 4YOE in Industry to Public as a senior associate in Assurance. Do PA firm expect you to already know everything, or do they provide training to help you catch on? How challenging is it coming from industry to PA? What could be some of their expectations? And how do you exceed that?
