Is EY Tech Risk a good move? Currently an S1 feeling underpaid in MCOL at $86k with a few certs.

Hello folks. I have 9 years of experience as a front end developer. Worked for over 4 companies in total. I’m planning to switch. How much yearly salary should I expect? Recruiters call and say that they don’t have budget beyond 130k. And I believe 130k base is pretty less. Happy to receive opinion/info.

I just got an offer for a hybrid Product Owner / Scrum Master / Project manager role for a SWD company.

Wonder what I should counter. I have five direct YOE and two indirect.

Base: $145k
Bonus: +10%

It feels a bit low but it’s also more than I make now.

Is a 110k salary fair for UX Designer in a f-500 organization with the following responsibilities:

Wear many hats in UX, for 7 separate digital products
Flows/Logical solutions for the business
Manage entire design system for the 7 products
Do UI design for the 7 products
Provide spec work for dev teams for each product
Random graphic design requests
Lead a team of 3 designers
Do manager role to organize the work under agile design sprints with Jira boards (daily scrum, refinement, grooming)

For a Workday Data Conversion Lead Role, I have 6 YOE in Workday, 16 YOE in ERP Implementations. Is this fine or over/under? Currently 180k, 20% Bonus, $5k annual bonus. Anybody exit consulting and go into business for themselves? (Own firm, real estate, niche business?) If so, how did you go about getting capital to get started?

I thought I found the perfect position in March but I was let go today. I was blindsided. Never a complaint, my reviews were excellent and I got along well with the owners. My only issue was the PEO not speaking with me and going directly to the owners with her agenda. I asked ownership to work with me and I would pull the PEO in, if necessary. Apparently, they have a longstanding friendship and he does not think of them as a vendor as a friend. She suggested a on-site PEO rep and out I go!

One thing that's been bothering me lately is how hard it is to find a job in marketing right now. There are so many different roles and responsibilities that it can be overwhelming. How do you know where to start? Is there even an opportunity for someone like me with no formal education?
