Hello, I'm looking at a position within Paypal. My question, what is the work life balance, expectation for office (hybrid/remote/other) and is the pay comparable to other companies? Reviewing Director and Senior Director roles on the business side. I have over 15 years experience with multiple degrees. TIA!

More sleep
More alarms
Get a sleep study done... I was in the same boat; turns out I have sleep apnea. Now (with CPAP) I sleep much better and wake up more easily.
Put the alarm where you have to get out if bed
Different types of alarms. There are ones that vibrate the bed or turn on lights. Also if the issue is you pressing snooze, put the alarm on the other side of the room.
a combination of what EY1 said and what PwC1 said 😂😂👌
Get your vitamin D checked too. I had super low levels that it was awwwwful trying to get out of bed
Thanks, D3! Already have along with iron and B12. My D and B12 used to be low, but are now, thankfully normal. My ferritin (iron stores) remain stubbornly low despite having taken 65 mg of iron daily for more than two years. I'm likely having issues absorbing it due to GI damage, but that's just another issue. Great tip though and thanks! Anyone know any of those alarms that roll around and you have to chase them?
@OP the alarm clock you have to chase is called Clocky
Thanks!
I struggle with this, better quality sleep helps a lot.
Make sure that your hearing is ok. Some people cannot hear low frequency sound.
Low frequency hearing loss happens suddenly and most likely impacts one ear. If the good ear is on your pillow, it will be hard to hear alarm.
Have some self discipline

Have you tried a Fitbit? It vibrates on your wrist for the alarm.
P2- wow! Good to know. Yeah, I already have one sleep disorder and have already employed almost all of the above-mentioned recommendations so maybe something like that is going on.
D2- hilarious. I laughed out loud! When I was little, my mom used to pull the blankets off of me, open the blinds, and run the vacuum to wake me up. I'm not kidding. I'm just dead to the world...
I did the same thing ATK1 suggested. The thing is, don't get back in bed after you turn off that alarm.
Here's the thing- I'm already doing that and just not hearing the alarm, even when it is up all of the way. I need some kind of fog horn. I downloaded this great app called "Loud Alarm," but it is kind of janky and doesn't always work so it is a big risk. Shake N' Wake was also good, but also not full proof
