Hello All, I have been selected in the interview at NTT DATA and also submitted documents as requested by Recruiting HR. However , it's been a 10 days after docs submission but haven't received any call from HR for salary negotiation. On email follow up with HR, he said he is on it and will come back to me soon for further process. Any views.NTT DATA

Directly with a recruiter. You basically skipped the applying directly on the website part and you have an insider who’s advocating for you.
Try to also liaise with the veterans employee organization at that company, they will advocate for you as well.
NEVER apply through a website until someone there tells you to.
Seems like most of us are on the same page.. but A1 to answer your question, at my last firm I was a hiring manager, typically making decisions on 5-10 roles each month.
If you apply, you add a filter to your review process (you're at the mercy of the ATS and the recruiter's review). If you're referred (especially by someone with a connection to that role), your resume goes around the ATS and directly to the recruiter or hiring manager.
For the roles I got referrals for, that person almost always got an interview (only once did I not give an interview, it was just too much of a stretch). In the interview, there's already a connection that others don't get (Amanda tells me great things, how did you two meet). Then you have your referrer working in the background, following up on your behalf before a decision is made.
In what universe would you want to take an interview you blindly applied for, knowing that most likely someone was already referred in with a huge advantage over you?
A lot of the times it’s the same thing. After you apply through a website your application goes to the company’s recruiter and the recruiter will contact you.
Recruiters won’t be, and aren’t looking at every single application. Some job reqs get 10k+ applications. It’s simply not possible to review every single one.
