Has anyone interviewed with Amazon in the last 6 months. I finished my loop for a finance role. It’s been 8 business days and no update from the recruiter. I mailed the recruiter who said apologies for the delay but we will get back to you with next steps. Has anyone had this experience and what was the outcome Amazon

Asking you to train a replacement would require foresight and concern for a smooth transition.
So yeah, it’ll be A.
Entirely depends on the account. How well staffed it is, if there are any privacy concerns, etc.
It also depends what your new job is and if it’s a conflict of interest.
For example, hypothetically you worked at Droga on Facebook account, they’d probs pull you off. But If you worked at droga on lulu lemon, they will just let you ride it out on the account until your last day
I’ve seen people that work on chase that left to Amex get pulled off their account but still hung around to help out with odds and ends on other stuff
A few years ago I put in notice and the agency decided to put me on a pitch
Me too!

Remember employment in America is at-will. You CAN leave anytime.
You're not obligated to do the notice if they don't want to be nice to you. 🖕🏻
It was A for me. I was pitching new clients until my last day.
It was A for me.
Then the AD on an account was unaware of my departure date and on my last day was surprised when I wouldn't come in for a later date meeting.

My experience had been a mix of both with the replacement shadowing me especially if they're newer.
If they really starting pull that sh!t like working you 16 hour days, just call in sick. Tell them you have the flu (or possible worse).
Just quit working at noon. Don’t sign off tools or tell anyone, and definitely don’t respond to anything. Next AM: “Sorry, I missed this yesterday.” Your only duty at this point is some kind of transition plan- beyond that, your conscience is clear. They’ll get along without you.
First week: A
Second week: B

Are you WFH? Do the bare minimum to transition your work. You have already signaled you are leaving.
