You'd be burning a bridge but it's not impossible

One you are filled/staffed, it's kind of a done deal. Talk to your TFS and CC to see if they are willing to help.

like

you are new. take the assigned role and crush it

like

I would first confirm that the other opp would 100% staff you, and you are confident it is a better role. Before asking your CC or manager of the other project to help you switch. And to burn less of the bridge, suggest a colleague or interested analyst to replace you.

like

Only burn the bridge if the other role is a done deal..

like

No TFS assigned, CC supports me...

Manager that placed me was one of my interviewers, should I burn that bridge, he wouldn't be on my staffing calls tho

It's only my first week! The gig is supposed to start Friday. I have another one lined up but need to meet client for approval scheduled for Friday... No analysts interested / I only know maybe 5 people Bc I'm new -.-

Not a functional role it's project management... 8 months. I'm a new hire, not new analyst.

Hey everyone I’m a new graduate with a bs in industrial and systems engineering currently looking around for full time opportunities. One role that caught my eye is sales engineering. I wanted to ask for opinions on this career path in terms of pay and career progression. Does it have good exit opportunities? What does the career growth typically look like for this role? And if anyone with a similar education could tell me what career path you chose and why! Any advice would be much appreciated!

Hi all! I'm planning to pivot careers towards the medical devices industry. Specifically in industrial/manufacturing/quality engineering.

Does anyone know of great resources/certifications to share that will not only provide a better understanding but make me a stronger candidate?

As of now, I have a six sigma green belt certification and have had 2 internships (one in Manufacturing Engineering and Industrial engineering) prior to my current full-time role.

Thank you in advance!
