My school has seen combinations of f2f, hybrid, and remote teaching/learning throughout the first half of the school year. After the MLK holiday, our district is returning to traditional f2f teaching 100%. I have 4 band classes (1 beginning, 2 intermediate, & 1 advanced), and as far as content pacing is concerned, we’re 1 9-week grading period behind. Came home around 2 today and nanny was straight up watching tv while our baby was in his bouncer with back to tv. I work from home a lot and it’s never happened before. She is dealing with three under five and so 2 is when the older two are both napping (and sometimes baby naps then too, but clearly not today). Concern is that this BISO role would not have bonuses (nonprofit), so I’d potentially be “throwing away” $ by leaving consulting now.
